Term 3- 'The Tempest" Installation Performance

Some Photographs from our final installation show.
Our installation concept- 'Tempest in a teacup', well in fact large glass vase. But the idea was to create the key moments of the tempest in the vase by having Ariel add different potions to the water to symbolise different scenes and events. The lighting and voice recordings made it really effective!!!

Above- Ariel in rehearsal all in white with feather ruff and painted white face
The 'Potions' included- sawdust, glitter, washing up liquid, and glass stones

The mobile- feathers. origami birds and straw

Experimenting with lighting filters and effects

Sawdust added to water which creates an island effect.

Royal De Luxe- Liverpool April 2012

Royal De luxe in Liverpool- April 2012

The little girl giant travelled around the city on a ship for the titanic special, and then later walked the street. She was amazing and also very creepy.

The dog puppet was so realistic... it was amazing!!!

The Uncle giant emerged form the docks and then travelled around the city. It took at least 20 puppeteers to control him! my favourite puppet of the day :)
